Kryptaglow® paint, made from photoluminescence pigments Chosen to Secure Safe Evacuation Zone in NYC

After September 11, New York passed the LL26 laws which set the new requirements for safety and emergency evacuation for all New York City commercial buildings over 75 feet in height. These structures are required to have photoluminescence signs and markings "leading the way to safety" for occupants in emergency situations.

Kryptaglow® paint, made from the strontium group of photoluminescence pigments, emits a magnificent neon glow that can last up to 10 hours in total darkness. Kryptaglow® special blend paint passed MEA standards for NYC in May 2005 with the highest brightness rating achieved for safety paint and offers an affordable solution for a safe evacuation route. Our paint has passed the Material Equipment Acceptance test three times and has proven to be the brightest rated safety paints ever manufactured. Trained NYC Contractors are in place for immediate applications and installations are underway.

 

In addition to our superior paint products, Co Leash has exclusive rights to certified MEA exit signs for evacuation. Kryptaglow® is currently formulating and testing their paint to meet or exceed California VOC regulations.
